I had the Sweetheart bagel sandwich and OMG - it was my bagel dream come true. The coffee was perfection. The atmosphere was cute, cozy and welcoming. There were people of all ages and styles. You could just tell it was a local favorite.

So. Starbucks isn't even good next to this place. BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER HAD. NEVER WILL I FORGET ABOUT THIS PLACE. We live in Colorado and if we ever come back, we'll be stopping here. I pray this establishment will continue to grow and flourish. Thanks for showing me what GOOD Coffee tastes like👋😍😄

Super friendly barista, nice vibes, good coffee. Stopped in before heading back home and wasn’t disappointed. They have good seating for working at tables, and a loft area a little away from the main floor.

I enjoyed my tea and it was comfortable and charming. My only complaint is that because their WiFi has some filters I was unable to access a website I work on that is related to gaming.

Updated due to a mistake on my part, and a great response from the shop! Five stars! The coffee is very good, and the prices are comparable to area shops. I highly recommend stopping if you're in the area!

Very unassuming, hole-in-the-wall location. Don't be deterred - it's worth coming in! Great coffee and fun/tasty bagel variety and baked goods. Tons of atmosphere and personality!

Cute coffee shop with local flair and artwork. Upstairs seating lounge with a sunlight. Great beer and coffee drinks. I got the Mexican Mocha. Very delicious. Music was a chill selection of jazz.

I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and I love it. Best chai in Salem and they have become much more sustainable with their packaging lately too! Try a bagel while you’re there.

One of the best coffee shops in Salem! This is where I but my coffee beans because they're roasted with love and care. The owners are passionate about the community and support local artists.

Very good coffee. Great atmosphere and vibe. The service is great. It can get crowded, but it's worth the wait. Will normally get their iced latte and blended Mexican mocha both are very good.

I'd give less stars if possible. I asked for a large americano in my 20 oz Yeti mug, and to have ~4 oz half and half and sugar steamed, to which the girl replied "I think I'll have to charge you extra for that". I couldn't believe my eyes. Charge extra for an already $3.00 simple drink?? Sorry, I like my half and half steamed with the sugar in it; it keeps my coffee hot and the sugar dissolves in the cream so I don't get granules in the bottom of my coffee. I said, that ok then, I don't want you to go through the bother, I'll just take it with some room. When I get my americano there was literally a shot in the bottom of my mug and an inch of water.I used to refer people to this place, now I will never return: Treat me poorly and I'll make sure everyone knows.

This place has the coolest cozy vibe. Hipster coffee bar by day, full bar at night! Live music on Friday nights. Great for studying or being creative. I do most of my web development here.

Good coffee. More than just pastries to eat which is really nice. It has been a fixture in Salem for many years and has great character while still having great coffee.

Stopped in on the way to our camping trip to grab some coffee- decided on the Nicaragua blend and it was sooo good! I’ve been here for meetings/just hanging out and it’s a great atmosphere. The owners and employees are always so nice, too! ☺️

Great little place. Cute and trendy. Chairs are the standard hard uncomfortable seating. Customer service is good. Coffee is great. Events are awesome! Definitely a fantastic contribution to Salem!

Governor's cup has a really good breakfast bagel sandwich and great coffee. Better than the other spot around the corner for sure, although the vibe is different inside. Service is great also. Don't forget to bus your own dishes.

Staff is wonderful. Product is always top notch. The owners truly care about both. This is a place where ANYONE will feel welcome. They place an emphasis on fairness and environmental sustainability all the way up and down the supply chain. Looking forward to live music nights!

Hidden gem! Stopped by here only because we wanted to grab coffee and walk down to the riverfront. What a refreshing surprise. Firstly, the place is very cozy and welcoming. Perfect place to read a book or just relax, have a conversation. Secondly, they have one of the nicest selections of loose leaf tea I've encountered in awhile. It's not often that you are able to get smoked black tea in a coffee shop. AND- the staff was great, very friendly and seemed happy to be there.

I went for the show, I bought a bottle of porter and a 5$ bag of loose leaf tea to take home. Many of the seats were taken so I went upstairs where I happened to run into a friend. The first band was loud but very captivating. I was a good distance away from the stage, and didn't mind the volume. Anticlimacticly though, many people left during the first few songs of the first band. There were these parts where the chords began to fall downward out of one key, through another key, and then back into the original one, a surreal experience. The second band was tight synth-pop. Powdered chai tea, I think it is the best in town.

No matter what I order, it's always PERFECT. And I really do mean perfect. The shop has a good vibe as well, as do the baristas. Love their glass straws and option to have your drink in an actual cup/mug. 100/10 would recommend!!!

This place has a great vibe for a coffee shop. The barista knew what a “flat white” was which can sometimes be difficult. Breakfast sandwich was quite delicious. Highly recommend the upstairs seating, makes for a good view!

In my opinion, I loved this coffee place. My friends recommend it for me. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful place. The coffee was fantastic and it was environmentally friendly. It was busy but calm at the same time. There was fantastic plant art and had a cozy feel to it. I wanted to live there! As a barista and an artist this is the perfect place to go. Also the customer service was impeccable. They were so friendly and joked with my friend group. I just can't say enough good things about this little treasure of a coffee place.

The staff is absolutely great. The place has always been great for downtown non-Bucks coffee, but the staff are what really make this place feel good!

Spacious facility. Friendly staff. Downstairs and upstairs seating. Tasty drinks. I had a 16oz hot cocoa. Bathrooms are upstairs and are not wheelchair accessible. Food options are a few pastries and bagel sandwiches. Would love to have quiche as an option.

Lovely local coffee shop with lots of tea and coffee options. I go here because they carry oat milk, which gives them a leg up over other Salem coffee shops, most of which only offer the usual coconut/almond/soy. The ambience is great, the staff are friendly. I haven’t been to a concert here yet but would love to in the future.

This place is quite the gem! Very good coffee! Their brew a bold richness. Casual unique atmosphere and great space for groups. The Vegetarian and vegan options for food are also very much appreciated. This place has something for everyone.

Seriously. Vegan cinnamon rolls with espresso flavored frosting. Enough said. Not overly sweet either.They have an upstairs loft and WiFi for studying and working on your laptop. Plenty of tables downstairs for chatting, slurping, and munching.They're doing a lot of little things great here.
